I would NOT recommend this place if you want to order food delivery.
Today, I reached my limits in patience with Kanna Curry house Puchong. I made an order through Food Panda for banana leaf rice + tenggiri fish + chicken varuval. After 45 mins wait, I received only rice! How can such a big mistake like this happen?? The fish and chicken I ordered amounting to Rm16 was not there. I contacted customer service, the agent couldn't refund me on my card, and only offered a voucher. My only request was to resend the missing food so that I can finally eat my lunch. But the voucher doesn't cover the cost of delivery fee. So I had to pay another RM5 for me to get my food from the first order. After another 45 mins, guess what, even in second delivery, I did not get the chicken cutlet which I ordered, and instead received the tauhu sambal. Seriously what is wrong with this restaurant?
The rider informed me that even with no dine in customer, the workers at the restaurant was busy chit chatting and not working well, and that's why he also waited a long time to pick up the food. So disappointed and feel cheated. I have always been a loyal customer, and I bring my family and friends and foreign friends who comes to visit, but this ends today because in totality this is the 4th time that Kanna curry house puchong has done such bad food delivery and I no longer trust...
Read moreI regret to say that my recent visit to Kanna Curry House left me with a negative impression. Despite my high hopes for this restaurant, my experience was marred by several issues.
Firstly, the staff attitude was quite rude and unwelcoming. I found this to be quite off-putting, and it detracted from the overall dining experience. I believe that good customer service is essential to running a successful restaurant, and unfortunately, this was lacking during my visit.
Furthermore, the food itself was disappointing. I ordered the roti bom and roti telur, which unfortunately tasted like plain dough without much flavor. The curry kuah was also mixed up, which made it difficult to enjoy the dish. Overall, the food did not live up to my expectations.
Despite these issues, I do acknowledge that everyone's taste preferences are different, and other diners may have had a different experience. However, based on my own experience, I would not recommend Kanna Curry House.
I believe that honest reviews are important to help other diners make informed decisions, and I hope that my feedback can be helpful to others who are considering dining at...
Read moreJust got back from a long drive from Singapore and was already homesick for some basic Malaysian comfort food. I decided to drop by Kanna Curry House (Puchong Jaya) for a quick fix—but sadly, it was a big letdown this time.
I ordered a ghee thosai (which was alright, perhaps I was just hungry), a Maggi goreng biasa with a fried egg, and a teh O ais limau kosong. The Maggi goreng was unusually disappointing—too wet, mushy, lacking flavour, and had an overpowering yolky aftertaste. This is highly uncharacteristic based on my past visits. The teh O ais limau was even worse—sour and oddly resembled homemade apple cider gone wrong.
To be fair, it was close to closing time, so I’m unsure if it was a rushed job. Still, consistency matters, especially for regulars. I sincerely hope the management or stakeholders take a more active role in quality control and perhaps even engage regular customers for feedback. Kanna used to be my go-to. I really hope they get their act together soon—it might be a while...
